The Storm Kestrel

This part of the world has it’s known legends.
A small bird of prey is said to summon lightning from the clouds.
It’s a raptor covered in colorful iridescent feathers shining with electric light.
Hot sparks fall around and it flashes like a warning beacon while a thunderhead builds in the atmosphere.
It becomes bright white then launches upward connecting bolts of lightning from the earth to the sky.
When the storm passes, a female may return to lay eggs. They’ll be hidden amongst the obsidian shards at the site of a lightening strike.
