Corinne Lent is originally from New York where she studied Fashion and Textiles. She is now living and working in Portland, Oregon. Her work is a mash up of techniques and mediums such as illustration, ceramics and textiles. She is inspired by travel, collecting oddities and the occult. She arrives at her curious creations by mixing folk art, vintage relics, flowers and animals. Her art while being colorful and naive can also have a dark allure. She produces ceramics with a mystical flair such as palm incense burners , shrines and candelabras as well as various textile products.
