The Collector
The Collector, with his silent wings folded against his back, waits for the pale dawn to awaken the sleeping forest.
His predators heartbeat quickens as the golden glow of the morning illuminates his sacred trophies, each precious life taken to extend his own. He sits motionless amid their skulls, carefully selected, cleaned and displayed as a sure protection of his own eternal existence.
He believes in this, and he waits.
And he waits.'
